"Memories Are Made Of This"
Photos below taken many delightful moons ago!
How does the Caper Cutters Square Dance Club
manage to stay successful
and strong
after all these years?
The colorful photo above is one of the
many
reasons why!
Extremely dedicated
Members,
Callers and Cuers determined to give it
their all to keep this club alive & well!
From left to right:
Larry and Kathy Davenport,
Elena and Ken.
Ken is now teaching the
Angels up above
how to round dance in elegance!

That's
lovely Hazel Farrell, the Club's former "Sunshine Lady".
She was also one of
the original "backbones" of Caper Cutters.
Sadly she's suffering from Alzheimer's and now in a nursing home.

The
elegant couple above are
Deane and Rita Gough,
another valuable and dedicated members of the club.
Both are extremely helpful and are
always going out of their way to help out.
Deane used to guard the
club's treasury vault for many years until
it was time to turn over the key to the next elected Club Treasurer.
Deane is now Past President and Rita is currently Vice President.
We've never seen Deane grouchy yet!
Perhaps that's only reserved for
rare occasions when Rita would accidentally
step on his toes while round
dancing!
He and Rita always greet the members with big smiles.
And if you
look at the latest issue of the club roster and bulletin,
you'll notice that
the forms have undergone some
delightful new face lifts.
Yes, you guessed it,
Deane made it happen with the help of his computer.
Did you know he's an Excel expert?
Thanks, Deane, for doing such a wonderful job on our
rosters and bulletins.
They sure are getting fancier these days!
We thank with all our hearts the Keeper of the Stars
for giving Deane a "clean bill of health" a couple of years back!

A Blast
from the Past!
Taken in 1997 at a Hawaiian Monday night party.
Waving at the back were Richard (aka Dick) & Lulu Robertson.
Left to right:
Roy Didier, Herb Greenhood, Lore Andreasen,
Joe and Charolette Rusk, Mark Haas,
Elwood, Andy Gutierrez and Nancy Lathrop.
Sadly (for us left behind
but gladly for them whose pains have gone away),
a few had already gone to our permanent, painless world
we call heaven... We miss you so.
