Above was the club's
magnificent
Square Dance Caller, Larry Davenport.
He & wife Kathy "retired"
in December 2007.
Jim Osbourne took over the helm
last January 2008.
With Larry were Ken Croft and Elena De Zordo,
Caper Cutters' beloved Round and Line Dance Cuers.
Ken and
Elena had been the Club's Round and Line Dance Cuers
and Instructors for 30 years.
They cued easy Phase 2 and 3 levels.
Elena is now resting comfortably
in a nice Nursing Home.
Ken, who was the official Round Dance Cuer of the Caper Cutters for over 30 years
died peacefully on Sept 5, 2005.
To this day, he is still sorely missed by many of us.
As you may know, Ken wrote the choreography of the classic and popular
round dance entitled "Hush".
Wendy Jean Iannico took over as
Round Dance Cuer.
Sadly she had to leave for personal reasons.
Jim Sichel, an avid student of the late Ken Croft
who
stepped up to the plate and took over as round dance cuer and teacher had to
leave for health reasons. He is greatly missed.
At present there is no round dancing offered by this club.
